National Centre for Early Music

The National Centre for Early Music is the national advocate of early music in England providing early music experiences and opportunities of the highest quality.  It reaches an ever widening and diversified audience and promotes St Margaret's, where it is based, as a significant venue for music and creative learning in York.

The Centre runs a lively year-round learning and participation programme for all ages, from early years to adult, which encompasses a wide range of musical genres, including early music, jazz, folk and world.
