Historic House Hotels reopen in July

Dear Guest

I am so pleased at last to be able to inform you that after these long and difficult weeks of lockdown, our hotels Hartwell House, Middlethorpe Hall and Bodysgallen Hall are reopening - Hartwell and Middlethorpe on 16th July, and Bodysgallen as soon as Welsh Government says we can. It looks as if the Spas will be opening later.

So, for that holiday you really need, without airports, to get out of the house, to be looked after somewhere that you know and like already, to have plenty of space, and someone else to do the cooking, the Historic House Hotels look forward to your return.


I attach a link below to all the safety measures we have devised after expert advice to protect your safety and that of our staff. All our Historic House Hotels are in large estates with plenty of room to move 'separately', and in all three, there are suites outside the main building with their own front doors for additional peace of mind and privacy, and at Hartwell and Bodysgallen a suite with a self-catering option. The allocation of rooms in the principal houses will be managed safely. To tempt you back we have put in place special offers of three nights for the price of two, four nights for the price of three, and seven nights for the price of five.

Whilst you have been away, the director of each hotel has not left his hotel, whilst undertaking with his team many tasks of maintenance and improvements that are difficult when guests are present. Your return will complete the scene, and we look forward to your booking.
