Newby Hall
One of Britain's finest Adam houses, just a 45 minute drive from Middlethorpe Hall.
Built in the 1690s by Sir Christopher Wren, the house was later enlarged and adapted by John Carr and subsequently Robert Adam. It is an exceptional example of 18th century interior decoration and the house is set in beautiful award-winning gardens.
